Hey there Kenora region Digital Creators!
I'm sad to say that my time here has reached it's end. We've had lots of great times at the Digital Creator Space and also at events held elsewhere around the community. I was thrilled to be part of this project and to see so many great things get created over the past year. Truly inspiring to see some of the work that the young Digital Creators produced!
We will be closed for the next little while, but don't fret too much - my replacement will be reopening the space at some point in the near future! So keep your eyes peeled for information about our re-opening in the coming months, and in the meantime, keep creating all sorts of wonderful, digital things!
Thanks a bunch for the fun year and a bit!
Drop by and check us out. We have lots of fun things happening at the Kenora Branch Library! Pick up your log sheet at the library for the Screen Free Week Challenge. We are also celebrating TD Canadian Children's Book Week with a bingo contest. Join us for biweekly storytimes on Thursdays at 4:30 and Saturdays at 11 am, and more!
A new Art Centre for Kenora - that's the vision.
A new art space deeply connected and rooted to the success of a well-established museum but free to strike out on its own remarkable path - that's the dream.
A strong cultural presence in Kenora that inspires and supports
artists, encourages creativity, strengthens community bonds, builds
identity, invigorates growth, and says to the world, "We're unique.
We have something very special to share with you. You'll be
amazed." - that's the big picture.
