The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) - is the national representative organization of the First Nations in Canada.


Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) - is one of the federal government departments responsible for meeting the Government of Canada's obligations and commitments to First Nations, Inuit and Métis, and for fulfilling the federal government's constitutional responsibilities in the North.

The First Nations Child & Family Caring Society of Canada - is a society to promote the well being of all First Nations children, youth, families and communities with a particular focus on the prevention of, and response to, child maltreatment.


Anishinaabeg of K abapikotawangag Resource Council (AKRC) - is incorporated as an Aboriginal non-profit organization, providing advisory and technical services to the member First Nations.


Bimose Tribal Council - is a Tribal Council that provides specific needs to its member First Nations.


Pwi-Di-Goo-Zing Ne-Yaa-Zhing Advisory Services' - is available to provide advisory services and training which will enhance the overall management skills and opportunities of the area First Nations.


.Ne Chee Friendship Center - A non-profit organization providing services to Kenora and surrounding area's Aboriginal Communities.


Kwayaciiwin Education Resource Centre - began operation in 2002, under the direction of the District Education Planning Committee (DEPC). The DEPC was established to implement and manage the Academic Readiness Project, mandated by district Chiefs to address concerns about the academic readiness of district students when they left their communities to attend high school.
